TestoRipped is a product that is meant for fat burning, but not with dieters in mind. Instead, this one is geared toward bodybuilders who are looking to shed the layer of fat that exists over the muscles and that takes away from their appearance because the definition can’t be seen as clearly.

What Does TestoRipped Claim to Do?

This product is geared exclusively toward men, calling itself a “hardcore fat burner”. Whether or not it can actually provide the same results that it has promised is another matter. After consulting with a doctor to decide whether or not the formula would actually be safe to use, the next step is to examine the ingredients to see if there is any chance that it will actually be effective for reducing the layer of fat located over the muscles.

These fat burner pills are marketed by Nutripharm, LLC. This information was sifted out of the Privacy Policy for the website, as it is not identified in the limited information on the more usable part of the official site for the product. The website is registered to a company under that name. Research on the product has shown that at one point, the brand was owned by a company called R. Walker Companies LLC. Both Nutripharm and R. Walker Companies are located in Utah. This suggests that the brand has been sold and, at some point, was placed under new ownership.

The promises regarding TestoRipped include boosting a man’s power, strength, lean muscle, and energy levels, while reducing fat. To accomplish this, it is made up of a formula that includes: phytoseme green tea, caffeine anhydrous, fenugreek, boron citrate, creatine HCL, zinc, and vitamin B12.

Is There Research?

The website has a link to a massive list to clinical studies that are cited within the claims. In fact, there are 38 different studies that are listed on the page. However, when actually looking at the studies, much of the research has absolutely nothing to do with the claims that are made about TestoRipped. Though some do conclude that some weight loss can occur in a way that is similar to ingredients such as capsaicin or synephrine, others simply conclude that results such as mental clarity and that a certain substance is an FDA GRAS (generally recognized as safe) food – though mention was not made regarding supplementation.

It is clear that this product is primarily a stimulant. This can conflict with a number of health conditions, medications, and supplements, and comes with a risk of side effects.

Update August 2020

As of August 2020, TestoRipped is no longer available for purchase.  Several sites claim that it has been discontinued.  The official Nutripharm website no longer lists this item among its products.  It is unclear as to what specifically caused the product to be discontinued, but none of the other offerings on the official manufacturer’s website look anything like that fat burning pill.  It could be that the product wasn’t popular, and the manufacturer moved away from the category in favor of different types of supplements.  That said, this is merely speculation and has not been confirmed by the company.

Alternatives to TestoRipped

With TestoRipped discontinued, you may be wondering what alternatives are available as the right diet pills for you. The first thing you should know is that even if you find a bottle of this product for sale, it isn’t a good idea to purchase or use it at this point. There is no way to know whether a product is fresh, whether it has been stored properly, or even if it is the genuine article.

It is unclear whether the manufacturer would continue to provide any support for the use of the product.

With so many alternatives available on today’s diet pill market, it’s best to leave TestoRipped alone and look for something you know will be safer for your use.

How to Choose a Diet Pill

Choosing a diet pill can seem like it would be frustrating, particularly after you’d already thought that you’d found TestoRipped.  However, it doesn’t need to be as overwhelming as it first appears.  Just remember that there are a few things to keep in mind as you consider your options. Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Has the manufacturer been in business for a while and does it have a good reputation?
  • Where is the company located and where does it manufacture its products?
  • Are all the product’s ingredients listed?
  • Is reputable scientific evidence (published in industry journals) available to support the use of those ingredients?
  • Are the use instructions clear?
  • Are the claims realistic or too good to be true?
  • Have you talked to your doctor about using this formula, even if it’s non-prescription?

A good product manufacturer will make all these answers readily available for you on its website. Moreover, even if it is a supplement, it should still encourage you to consult with your physician to be sure this product is appropriate for your unique needs and expectations.
