NatureGenX Leptin Burn is a thermogenic fat burner that the manufacturer, NatureGenX, claims is doctor formulated. This manufacturer also claims that Leptin Burn contains ingredients that are clinically proven to:
- Accelerate fat burn
- Curb sugar and appetite cravings
- Increase energy
- Help boost metabolism
NatureGenX Leptin Burn’s “Clinically Proven” Ingredients
The formula of this nonprescription diet pill is composed of:
- Green Coffee Bean
- Brown seaweed
- WellTrim iG African Mango
- GreenSelect Green Tea Phytosome
According to the manufacturer, when this NatureGenX Leptin Burn review was created, the way that this weight management aid works is that the formula is rich in antioxidants and the ingredients help to suppress hunger, increase metabolic rate, curb cravings and manage hunger. Leptin Burn targets the problem areas of the body and mind in regard to fat storage and keeps the body’s metabolic system active for better muscle into fat ratio management.
NatureGenX further says that while the green coffee bean lowers the absorption of dietary fat, African mango lowers the conversion of complex carbs into glucose.
There has been research that has found green coffee bean can help to lower the absorption of fat and activation of fat metabolism in the liver. However, this research is limited and was conducted on mice, so there is nothing “clinically proven” about it.
Likewise, studies that have been conducted on African mango for weight loss are also limited and researchers have said that until good quality trials can demonstrate the efficacy of African mango for weight loss, it should not be recommended as a weight loss aid.
In short, absolutely none of the NatureGenX Leptin Burn ingredients have been clinically proven to provide benefits that lead to measurable, quality weight loss in humans.
A Non-Stimulant Diet Pill
On the plus side, Leptin Burn is a non-stimulant diet pill. It does contain green coffee bean and green tea, which do contain caffeine, but the amount of caffeine is minimal. Therefore, it is unlikely to lead to stimulant related effects in most people. This is why this diet pill can be called non-stimulant, which is different from stimulant free.
However, there are enough red flags regarding the integrity of this product and manufacturer that it would likely be in your best interest to avoid it altogether. Any manufacturer who makes misleading claims, such as “clinically proven ingredients,” calls its reputation into question. NatureGenX has not made clear what about each ingredient has been clinically proven and no scientific research has been provided to back up these clinically proven claims. Without this information, a “clinically proven” statement is left open to interpretation, often resulting in consumers thinking/assuming that the dietary supplement is clinically proven for weight loss, which it’s not.
Furthermore, calling the formula “doctor formulated” (even if it is) is another marketing tactic to give consumers the impression that this diet pill is somehow safer and/or of a higher quality and efficacy compared to other OTC products. Additionally, no information is provided about the doctor. However, even if a doctor is behind the NatureGenX Leptin Burn formula, this doesn’t make it safe or effective. With that said, prior to taking any dietary supplement for weight loss it is best to consult with your own personal physician.
