Oxylean 1-3D is an over the counter weight loss supplement that is taken as a pill and that is made by a company named Black Labz. This product has an official website, where it claims that dieters who use it will be able to get rid of their excess weight by way of benefits such as appetite suppression, metabolism boosting, and mood support.
Those are all claims that the manufacturer says are based on a proprietary blend that they claim offers six stages of fat loss. At the time that this review was written, the official product page listed the proprietary blend ingredients as being: 13GS (which is assumed to be 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, which is from geranium stem), caffeine anhydrous (150 mg), green tea extract, yerba mate, saw palmetto, and bitter orange extract.
Right away, it becomes more than clear that this is primarily a stimulant-based product as it contains a number of different sources of stimulants, some of which are quite powerful. For this reason, it is highly recommended that anyone considering the purchase or use of this product should first speak with a doctor. Stimulants – particularly at this strength – are not appropriate for everyone. This formula would cause many dieters to experience unwanted side effects and there is a chance that some of its ingredients could interact with certain medical conditions, medications, or other supplements.
Furthermore, there are two ingredients within this supplement which, when combined can cause an increased risk of potentially dangerous health effects. According to a warning from the FDA that cautioned consumers not to use weight loss supplements that contain synephrine (which is found in bitter orange extract), that ingredient increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular issues. That risk is magnified when the synephrine is combined with caffeine, which is another ingredient that is present in this product, both on its own, as well as within the 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, green tea extract and the yerba mate.
Though it is commonplace for diet pills to contain stimulants, as they are known to reduce the appetite and speed up the metabolism, combining powerful stimulants, particularly those that are known to cause potentially dangerous interactions, does reduce the appeal of those effects. It is difficult to recommend Oxylean 1-3D, when there are so many other weight loss supplements on the market that could be used more safely and with a considerably lower level of risk.
